The owner of the education is the Swedish company Miljöutbildarna HB (MU). And we have been developing this education during the years of 1997 –2001. This has been done in close cooperation with organisations, schools, companies and authorities.

This education works in an international environment. The e-learning product has been used in countries such as Japan, USA, England, Sweden, Russia, and Lithuania with good results.

The education has been tested in a big variety of contexts and it works well everywhere. It has been proof-read by a number of experts. For example schools, environmental organisations and institutes, environmental leaders in companies and educational experts.

Miljöutbildarna has been working with environmental educations since 1997. One of the main authors of the material is Louise Wersäll, who also is the owner of MU.
Mu has given lectures in environmental issues and helped companies to develop and implement environmental action plans. Mu has also offered counselling for waste and sorting since 1996.

Already in 1998 it was obvious that bigger companies had a need for an e-learning product in environmental issues. These because it would take to much time for a teacher to personally educate several thousand employees. Therefore MU started to develop this education as an e-learning product that is now at your disposal!
